The Wailin' Jennys

The Wailin' Jennys are a Juno Award-winning Canadian folk ensemble from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and New York that started playing together in 2002.

In 2005 the group won Roots and Traditional Album of the Year (Group) at the Juno Awards for their 2004 album 40 Days.

The group's name is a pun on the country singer Waylon Jennings.

In addition to their efforts with The Wailin' Jennys they maintain solo careers.
